And “just be calm” doesn’t cut it and you don’t want to take drugs because D.A.R.E.

1. Laugh at yourself.

Really let yourself have it. You probably have some self depricating jokes that are itching to be freed upon the world. Just really let loose. if you cry, cry. Don’t worry about it.

2. Let off some steam by cleaning your space.

Maybe even other people’s spaces, especially if you have to look at it. That’ll show them! clutter causes stress, and you’ll start feeling a sense of accomplishment as small as it is.

3. Lower your expectations.

Just because you aren’t a billionaire today and you don’t see a way to become one by tomorrow, doesn’t mean you aren’t on your way to becoming one and that you won’t have an otherwise fulfilling and rewarding life on the way, whether you make it or not.

4. Design your life to be healthier.

Is there any change you can make in your life to add more nice social interactions that can happen on the regular? Perhaps a change that would create distance from the negative ones? Can you move things around in your life so that you get rewarded on a regular basis and still move towards your goals? Often when our environment is better, reaching our goals comes a lot more naturally.
